2DogRC. We find Troy Hamm's prompt service very hard to
beat. He is also the most knowledgeable we've found when
it come to the product he sells. With a long standing
reputation for very quick and accurate service we know you
will be satisfied. Most importantly to us, he's flown almost
everything he sells, and does so often. Offering first hand
experiences, and insight, something that is often lacking in
retailers. Many of you will already be familiar with 2DogRC,
they have become a trend setter in the electric flight scene.
You'll be hard pressed to beat either in service and expertise.
Both vendors carry some of the best electronics we've
tested. Particularly the Dualsky brand batteries, motors, and
ESCs. Prices that are hard to beat and quality above that of
the mainstream brands. You really need to give Dualsky a
try if you haven't already. Most of our planes do very well
with either the 2826-18 running a GT450 or larger pack, or
the DS400 motor with a GT850 or larger pack. Both
consistently offer more than 30oz of thrust. The GT line up
of batteries are the best we've flown. Offering decent price,
weight, and performance well above others like Thunder P,
Flight P, and Great P to almost name a few. The Dualsky
ESCs just seem to work better. They offer enough power to
land once the low voltage threshold is reached Sounds
simple, but many higher price brands have left us "falling
short". The default settings are great out of the box, and the
BECs have never let us down, a 12A is more than enough
for either of the above motors and (4) S3114 servos. Even
when slapping a 4S on a 20A ESC , drawing a peak of 23A
while driving (4) DS821, we had no problems.
We have tested many other brands, both on the bench and
in the air. Quite simply we cannot find another brand that
can consistently match the price, quality, service, and
performance that Dualsky does.
