Our mission comes to these few key points:

Easy Build
Top Quality
Flight Character

By character we mean that a specific plane should fly differently than another. Many, if not most other
designs offered by others are as generic as possible. Often one would be hard pressed to tell
models apart without colors or canopy location. With wing loading, part relationships, and general
shape being identical throughout  much of there product line. We will strive to create planes that fly as
that type of plane should. When you fly our Yak, we want to leave an impression that a Yak would
leave, not a piece of foam. While this is certainly not a cost effective method,  it is ours.
Our intent is to offer planes that fly like there design suggests, and with a character that stands out as
unique. We intend to offer the highest levels of quality, from laser cut parts, to name brand parts, even
going as far as including self adhesive shrink wrap, stainless motor mount screws. This level of
attention to quality and detail along with the design and engineering that goes into the planes, results
in a planes that builds easy and comes out straighter. After all, if you are not trying to be the best,
what are you doing?
The strength, particularly torsional, in the chassis is not found in conventional outdoor builds. Indoor
designs only come close when using large gussets or complex carbon struts. While you will find plenty
of carbon in our designs, it is used in a fashion that remains easy to build. One thing that was always
disappointing to us in conventional designs has been the landing gear. No longer, our gear holds up
like no other, and isn't harder to install than any other.
As for ease of build; wings and elevator are hinged before assembly to the fuselage. As often as
possible parts self locate, and align. Not just tab together, but align, and hold themselves in place.
The designs themselves create a straighter build without having to block up and measure through the
entire build, only to get a mostly good build.
We started on the path that brought us here when we tried stepping from foamies into 48” sized  3D
ARFs. We found that, although we had zero trouble piloting the typical foamy, we were completely
unprepared for a “real” plane. Both jumping into a world of character as well as the big gain in wing
loading was an unnerving experience. So we started trying to make a foamie that offered  a middle
ground, a something in between. That something, we feel, turned out being a  new experience in
foamies. We made planes that are intentionally a little heavier in flight loading. Planes that offer a
fraction of the twisting found in a conventional designs. Looked for new ways to reduce that slow
floaty feel. We sized them to allow the available power systems to be better suited in desirable
performance. Whether outrageous or a lesser power to weight, similar to what is found in the entry 3D
ARFs.  We made them perform far beyond what was expected, and then dialed them down a bit.
We will strive to bring new experiences to market, but only the best will make it. Several designs and
many iterations of each have already been discarded. If it doesn't strike out as a special and unique
plane, it won't be one of ours. We are also working on bringing larger versions that will work with the
power systems left behind by those 48” ARFs.
The intention behind our planes is to offer a different experience than that typically found in other
foamies. To provide a product that is a pleasure to own, not just the biggest, lightest, whatever.
